On April 21st, Nānākuli High & Intermediate agriculture and culinary students were able to work hand in hand on a final project for a balanced chicken meal. The agriculture students provide the vegetables and chicken, and the culinary students process, cook, and prepare their final meal. This project has been a long time coming for Carol West's culinary classes as well as Myles Murakami's agriculture classes.
Through this project students were able to learn not only about farming and cooking, they were also able to learn about good nutrition.
